Eridian Solutions aims to make its website and bespoke software clear, calm and as accessible as reasonably possible.
This statement describes our approach. It is not a claim of formal WCAG certification or an independent accessibility audit.
2. Design principles
- Clear page structures, logical headings and predictable navigation.
- Readable typography, meaningful contrast and restrained visual clutter.
- Responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Large, clearly labelled controls and plain-English instructions.
- Keyboard operation and visible focus states considered during development.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images where appropriate.
- Validation and error messages designed to explain how to recover.
- Avoidance of unnecessary motion, flashing or time pressure.
3. Bespoke software
Accessibility needs vary by project and user group. Relevant requirements should be identified during discovery and recorded in the Statement of Work and acceptance criteria.
Specialist testing or formal conformance audits are included only where expressly agreed for a project.
4. Known limitations
Third-party tools, legacy content, supplied documents and external services may not meet the same standard. Eridian Solutions will identify known material limitations where reasonably possible and work with clients to prioritise improvements.
